HSL is seeking a professional individual to establish a career in our growing freight brokerage on the Central Coast. The right candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments within the United States, Canada and Mexico. This is a demanding fast paced work environment with heavy call volume. You must possess a sharp attention to detail while being able to handling multiple tasks with definite time lines. Negotiating is a key part of this position; you will negotiate freight rates for your clients as well as rates from your vendors. Strong negotiating skills a must. Job duties include maintaining existing customer base while soliciting new client opportunities, monitoring customer shipments + communicating progress efficiently. Process all related paperwork to A/R + A/P depts. Candidate must be good at communicating via email and have excellent computer skills.
